WASHINGTON, DC – S-3 Group announced today that Michael Comer has joined the firm as a Vice President. Michael comes to S-3 following communications roles on Capitol Hill, most recently serving as Deputy Communications Director for House Majority Leader Steve Scalise.
Michael worked for Leader Scalise since 2018, previously serving as his Digital Director. In these roles he served as a critical advisor, anchoring the Leader’s communications strategy over a high-stakes seven-year period that included managing Scalise’s social media and television appearances, while also developing a plethora of lasting relationships with both members of the media and powerful conservative allies. Prior to his work with Scalise, he spent time as Deputy Press Secretary for the Committee on Education and the Workforce under Chairwoman Virginia Foxx.

Michael was born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia and holds a B.A. from James Madison University. He now resides in Washington, D.C.
