S-3 Group is seeking an outstanding candidate to join our growing digital team in Washington, DC as a Digital Associate.
Position Description
As a Digital Associate at S-3, you’ll manage the content creation process for multiple clients from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include drafting organic and paid social media, programmatic, website and blog copy, creating social media campaigns, directing design and creative development, and devising impactful and research-backed channel and content strategy. You’ll brainstorm content ideas independently and alongside your public affairs team members. As such, your creative thinking skills, strategic insight and collaboration (along with a love of politics and public policy) will be essential to your success. This role is client-facing.
Ideal candidates for this role should be creative and innovative, digitally and multimedia savvy, well-organized, and an excellent writer and communicator. Candidates should have a firm grasp of different digital touchpoints, high awareness of media and politics, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
Position Qualifications
- 2-3 years of professional experience at an agency or in an in-house digital copywriting/content strategy role
- Strong writing skills: ability to adapt to brand tone, voice and style guidelines and experience writing copy across digital channels
- Familiarity with social media platform best practices
- Understanding of social media metrics and how to optimize content based on analytics
- Experience working under deadline and managing multiple client projects/requests at once
- Working knowledge of national politics and media
- Active on social media
- Highly organized
- Strong attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree
