Michael Comer has built a strong reputation as a problem-solver known for effective message crafting, navigating the conservative media environment, and high-quality graphic design and video skills.
Prior to joining S-3 Group, Michael guided Majority Leader Steve Scalise’s communications strategy through high-stakes, high-profile policy and political battles like tax reform, impeachment, reconciliation, election cycles, and State of the Union addresses throughout his various House Leadership roles from 2018 to 2025. Working closely with the White House and other House and Senate Republican offices, Michael was responsible for the Leader’s social media and rapid response content and built relationships with reporters on Capitol Hill and at conservative outlets. Additionally, he managed television appearances and capitalized on unique press opportunities to cut through the noise. Previously, he ran digital communications for the Committee on Education and the Workforce and successfully launched two small businesses—a marketing and design agency and a homemade ice cream shop.
Michael was born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia and holds a B.A. from James Madison University.
