Zach brings years of experience in national party politics and campaigns to the S-3 team. Prior to joining S-3 Group, Zach managed political and issue advocacy research for the Congressional Leadership Fund, the House GOP-endorsed super PAC, and American Action Network. There, he helped develop messaging for paid media that was utilized in over $120 million in independent expenditures in the 2018 midterm elections. CLF’s research department, which he led, conducted in-depth research for more than 60 congressional races, the results of which shifted the narrative in campaigns across the country. At American Action Network, Zach’s work supported the largest paid media campaign in the country urging passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

Previously, Zach held positions at the National Republican Senatorial Committee in the 2012, 2014, and 2016 election cycles – serving as deputy research director when Republicans obtained and held the majority in the U.S. Senate. He regularly briefed national party officials and campaign staff on policy developments in the U.S. Senate, opposition research findings, and communications strategies.

In 2013, he also led the rapid response team for Ken Cuccinelli’s gubernatorial campaign in Virginia. Zach is a native of Houston, TX, and a graduate of Hamilton College.
